All Saints’ Day vacations on the Ile de Ré

Come to the Ile de Ré for the All Saints' Day vacations

The weather in October for the All Saints’ vacation is generally mild on the Ile de Ré. You’ll be able to enjoy the beautiful autumn days, and maybe even catch some sunshine during a siesta on a deckchair.

Here we take a break

An island where life is good on All Saints’ Day

Even though the summer vacations are only just over, you’re already looking forward to getting away again! How lucky are you? Have you managed to take a few days off for the school vacations? Then be sure to come and stay on the Ile de Ré.

You’ll be able to take advantage of some great booking deals for your vacations. Don’t hesitate to check out our website. And find what you’re looking for!

A great time for cycling!

At this time of year, the climate is still mild and it’s pleasant to cycle and enjoy the sunshine and wind. You’ll be able to get away from it all on the 110 km of cycle paths that criss-cross the island. If you’re lucky, you may even come across a few rabbits on the trails near the forests!

The All Saints’ vacation: a perfect time for a stroll

Fresh air, iodized breezes, little rays of sunshine… You’ll be able to stroll around the island and appreciate its charms.

Whether on horseback or on foot, you’re sure to discover an authentic island in October. Don’t forget to take an early evening stroll along the beach and breathe in the sea air!

And then… what could be better than beautiful, tranquil landscapes with salt marshes and the last birds before they migrate to other horizons?
I want to find out where to go for a walk!

Do some sport during the All Saints’ vacation too!

Even if the heat is off like it was this summer, don’t miss out on water sports like surfing, kitesurfing or canoeing! It’s well known that the Ile de Ré is a watersports paradise, even during the All Saints’ Day vacations!

And even though it might be a bit chilly for some in the water, challenge yourself to brave the cold!

So grab your wetsuits, goggles and determination!

And there’s more to do then?

Of course there is! Take a guided tour of the Vauban fortifications, the Ernest Cognacq Museum or the famous Phare des Baleines lighthouse! Monuments, yes, but also local businesses that open their doors to you: Atelier Quillet, l’Abeille de Ré or Loix et Savons.

And let’s not forget the island’s art scene! Don’t miss out on a visit to the artists’ galleries.

So, are you ready to spend your All Saints’ Day vacations on the Ile de Ré? We’re waiting for you! If you need any advice, call +33 (0)5 46 09 00 55 or visit one of our 10 Welcome Offices.
