Ile de Ré Voile, the sailing school in La Couarde-sur-Mer, welcomes you from April to September on the Prises beach.
Children will embark on a small catamaran (New Cat 12), adapted to their size and level. In crews of two or three per boat, they will be introduced to the joys of sailing in complete safety on our practice site sheltered from the swell. During these sailing lessons, they will discover the different elements of the catamaran and the marine environment. They will tack for the first time, learn how to stop and turn around, and then carry out various exercises under the guidance of their instructor.
Sailing lessons are given by an instructor qualified by the French Sailing Federation (FFV).
Age: 6 to 10 years.
Levels: beginner to intermediate.
Class days and times: Monday to Friday, 10am to 12pm (subject to change during the Easter holidays).
Please arrive 10 minutes before the start of the session.
Equipment provided: shorty wetsuit, lifejacket.
Equipment to bring: swimming costume, windbreaker (k-way type), waterproof shoes. This list is not exhaustive and must be adapted to the weather.
Prices: 1 session €30 - 2 sessions €55 - 3 sessions €80 - 4 sessions €100 - 5 sessions €120.
