Georges Bizet's Le Docteur Miracle is a comic opera in 1 act with a libretto by Léon Battu and Ludovic Halévy, first performed on 9 April 1857. The melodies combine elegance and freshness, and the ensembles are dazzling in their finesse of writing and dramatic verve. The Palazzetto Bru Zane has come up with a new production, directed by Pierre Lebon, which adds an actor to the four characters.
