Walk along the nature reserve, nature outing in autonomy

Accessible from the Maison du Fier, reception site of the LPO on the Ile de Ré, the footpath allows you to discover the Lilleau des Niges Nature Reserve. The 2km loop runs along the land part of the reserve (see map). Meet the birds that live in the salt marshes around the Maison du Fier and in the Nature Reserve. Depending on the time of the year, the species present are different and the best times of the day vary according to the season! Go to the reception desk for more information!

In order to make the most of this walk, the hiring of binoculars and audioguides is recommended. Equipped with educational terminals and audioguide terminals, this walk allows you to learn about the history of the site, how the nature reserve is managed and the natural environments that make it up. Due to covid-19, the audioguides in english are not yet available. Please as a team member for advice !

Allow an hour and a half for a full sight around the walk loop. The equipment can be rented for half a day (2€ per pair of binoculars / per audioguide or 15€ for the telescope).
