With a surface area of 4,500m2, the Plaine du Gros Jonc recreation area has always been a favourite meeting place for Portingale families. Summer visitors also frequent it a lot, especially with young children.
A skatepark was installed there under the mandate of Michel Auclair. Three major objectives prevailed during the call for tenders: the durability of the structure with the choice of concrete to avoid premature deterioration of the work, safety and environmental quality.
